Michael E. Weinstein is a graduate of Long Island University, 1965, and Brooklyn Law School, 1968. Attorney Weinstein has enjoyed an extensive career as a trial attorney. In his representation of the seriously injured, he has been successful in obtaining substantial verdicts and settlements, many in excess of one million dollars. Attorney Weinstein now concentrates his practice in the area of Criminal Defense. His practice involves representation of individuals facing criminal accusations ranging from the minimal to the most severe. He is licensed to practice in the Courts of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the State of New York and all Federal Courts.
Michael served as District Attorney of Pike County from 1980 through 1988. During that tenure, he prosecuted some of the most notorious cases in Pike County history. His achievements the courtroom have been recognized by his peers, Law Enforcement Agencies, and the media.
He is a member of the Pennsylvania Defenders Association, a former member of the Pennsylvania District Attorneys Association and its Executive Committee. He has served as a special Deputy Attorney General. He is qualified in Pennsylvania as a Capital Offense Defender.
Attorney Weinstein currently is General Counsel to the Delaware Valley School District, one of the fastest growing School Districts in Pennsylvania. He has served in that capacity for ten years.
Michael is an active member of the Milford Fire Department and is the Judge Advocate of the Marine Corps League, Gung Ho Detachment 909. He is a member of the Milford Lodge F & AM #344 and the Milford Lions Club. He was a founding member of the United Way of Pike County and was a charter member of its Board of Directors.
